Default Blues and Royals display

Hi

Not cap badge, but parts of the uniforms too. These units are very impressive.

OR's display

Cuirass size 2

It was quite difficult for me to install the different parts. The shoulders should be on the cuirass but I will do it next time

Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Hi

YES !

In fact, I don't knox the current dealers : Wilkinson? Pooley? other?

I need some time too: I am currently dealing with Goldings for a QRL Off N°1 cap, and it takes time (and money).

Breeches and Boots first, they are easier to find.

The shoulder straps are different for the various ranks, I have only seen one size, but there may be others.
You also need the Eagle for the top of the left sleeve.

Is the tunic Blues & Royals, or is it a pre-amalgamation Horse Guards one?

Hi

I don't know the difference (?????)

I got the tunic few years ago, brand new

And too late to open it now after the time I spent to fix the cuirass (small) !

Check the design on the buttons on the cuffs - if it's a crown over "RHG" it's Royal Horse Guards, if it's " RHG/1st D" it's the Blues and Royals, the post 1969 amalgamation of Royal Horse Guards and 1st Royal Dragoons
