Default British Army Field Marshal query 2

Gents,

I'm doing up a display of this Field Marshal rank and I'd like to know how the ADC cyphers should fit.

Can anyone tell me what each of the four iterations mean? There are two types of EIIR cypher I have seen in photographs, and also either of the GVIR or EIIR cyphers used alone.

thanks,
alf

As far as I know the Cypher indicates that the officer has served as an ADC to that monarch.
