Default 22nd seige battery badge query RGA.

Looking for information on the cap/uniform badge for RGA 22nd seige artillery please. my grandfather served with them and was posted to france october 1915. He was from Dundee , and Im curious as to how the soldiers were allocated to their respective units. Any information will be most appreciated.

Hello Peep, welcome the the Forum, the Royal Garrison Artillery [RGA] wore the standard Royal Artillery [gun] cap badge [as far as I'm aware ] along with the Royal Field Artillery [RFA] & Royal Horse Artillery [RHA] as all within the Royal Artillery ,they would have a brass shoulder title worn RGA to denote the section of RA they were in ,hopefully other members can elaborate on anything special with a RGA uniform for that time period.
