PAG shoulder title

Hi everyone,

I recently bought a few odd shoulder titles amongst which was a single PAG, which was a mystery to me. I've since been informed it is for Prince Albert's Guard, a South African Infantry regiment.

Is it possible to suggest an era for this title? It is not in any of the (limited) reference books I have.
