Default Need help with the Northamptonshire Regiment titles

Hi everybody!

Hope you are all doing okay? Enjoying the summer holidays?

I was hoping you guys could help me with these Northamptonshire titles?

Are they WW2 or Post war? Any opinion and or comment is truly appreciated!

Thank you so much. Have a great day!

Sincerely,
Frank

It looks post WW2 into the National Service era to me Frank. A majority of the titles during WW2 were screen printed, although some had been woven. The intent had been to reduce complexity and expense. Screen printing was far less labour intensive and easier to mass produce.

Also has had the lettering painstakingly ‘blancoed’!

The letters of the title individually whitened with a paste similar to that used on canvas shoes in order to make the title of the regiment stand out and look especially smart.

Expand the picture and see that every letter has been painted with paint or something like liquid whitener, aka blanco, usually used on white web belts and plimsolls (dabs).
Sometimes also seen on NCO stripes and some trade and proficiency badges.
