Default HELP WITH ID NEEDED!

Can any Forum member help with an ID for this brass badge. It has lugs that appear 'military' in style. It measures 2.5 inches in height.

Kind regards, Malcolm.

That is a large badge! I'd tend to suspect a piece of clan or band regalia myself, rather than military. I've certainly never come across a 'lion's paw' badge for Imperial/Commonwealth troops and while the lugs are certainly 'badge style' the item itself doesn't quite have the look of military heraldry. At least, not British.

My tuppence worth.
