Good evening,
I would need your advice about these 2 badges. The first one looks like Lincolnshire regiment cap badge but w/o scroll The second one ? Thank you |

Yes, I think the first is a Lincs badge without scroll. The second might be a Royal Artillery Conductor's badge or similar rank in other units.

The RA didn't/doesn't have Conductors. I think they're RLC.

Thank you for your answers. Is the conductor badge an arm badge, worn on a brass plate ?

Yes, this is an arm badge supported by a brass plate.

The second badge is a rank badge normally associated with a WO1 Conductor in the Royal Army Ordnance Corps. The backing plate would normally be issued in brass, but this would not be seen when worn on the lower sleeve or on a wrist band. The addition of an Artillery field gun below the badge would mean it was worn by a WO1 (Master Gunner Class 1) of the Royal Regiment of Artillery. However other Corps also used the badge.
