Default What era is this RAF pilots wing?

Dear forum,

I’ve just acquired this rather lovely pilots wing. I was thinking it might be pre-War?

Any help would be appreciated!

Many thanks,

It is indeed, rather lovely and it could certainly have actually been made prior to WW2, in my opinion, but, of course, without knowing who it's original wearer was, I think it is something you will ponder.

Default Wing

Certainly a pre 1953 wing sometimes refered to as a Burberry pattern wing.
