Are you saying that Bateman and Dehays are one and the same person, I don't see how they can be?

No, picking up on the comment about some people being prepared to give a lot to sit in a Lancaster
Dehays gave what wasn't his to give so he could sit in a Spitfire.
Bateman and Dehays are different people albeit criminals with similar MO's.
