Default W/M Parachute Regiment Q/C with Slider

Hi all simple query was there a slidered Queens Crown in White Metal? The reason I ask is have acquired two belts with badges one being of the Parachute Rgt, with slder and Q/C, will post photo's when the light is better many thanks billy

Yes, there was, I suppose you can say they fall into three groups, those actually issued, those bought to be subsequently worn by members of the regiment and lastly, those that are completely spurious of more recent manufacture, that are die struck in white metal.

Default Q/C Parachute Regiment (Trophy-belt)

Hi here is the badge from the Trophy Belt collected and put together 1959 - 1983, the person collecting these served in "2 RTR Cyclops Coy before re-enlistment into the RCT"

I mention the above because the badges themselves look good / worn and not what an RSM would expect on his Parade ground so they have been re-purposed I guess, with that said this badge has been copied to death so ask your opinions, will post photos of how it sits on the Belt - its bent as are a number of the badges a lot of makers marks on these as well as a few Aluminium Anodised, "Timmings marked" so think these are early badges, anyway look forward to your thoughts good or bad! Image of a QC Para cap badge with a clipped slider, had this a few years not sure if it's good or bad.

Tony I like yours as the Centra, Stroud line goes to left, mine is more central and feathers too square yours being more curved! Thanks for showing
