Correct Identification for Malta Sign
Hi friends
Can I have an identification of this Malta sign and is it Post WWII? This does not glow. cheers Phill |

231 (Malta) Inf Bde (of WW2). Yours is much better made than most local productions so I hope that it's genuine! Two of my examples attached. Mike

I do have a 231st Independent Bde, which we have covered, however with the one I have shown I don't get that WWII feel. Embroidered on felt stiff backing Would you say its British or Maltese made? Mine is the same as Lettman & GTB (below thread) so I am more than happy if it is 231st Independent Bde or could it be for 231st Brigade, 50th Northumbrian Normandy? http://www.britishbadgeforum.com/for...ighlight=231st cheers Phill |

Thanks for the replies.
FS is 5.58 cm x 5.0 cm. Its been cut either by scissors or die cut. Interesting thought!Maybe a collector did do this on purpose? cheers Phill |
