A well Qualified Warden
On the arms of a blue CD battledress worn by a Cornwall Warden was this array of qualification badges.
The top one is the nationally recognised Incident officer's badge with a local badge for Incident Warden below it. The last badge is again local and identifies the Warden as a Bomb Reconnaissance Officer, a badge replaced by a national qualification badge in 1944. The single red stripe indicates that the Warden was injured in the First World War, his battledress carrying the ribbons of the War and Victory medals. Jon |
