I bought a copy a year or two at a Bromley bookshop & a few minutes later found that it had pages missing etc so back it went.
I should get another but one of those things I haven't got around to.

The British plates are simply stunningly good.

I have just checked ABE. There are lots of copies at very low prices, great value for money for anyone with militaria interests.

Yes, I treasure it especially because it shows rear views, something rarely shown by other artists.

Just for interest, I noticed that in an "old" thread on another forum Stuart Bates shows an ORs Wolseley (which he attributes to Drake Bn of the RND of WWI), it bears a WD stamp of 1909, he states that's the earliest date he's seen on an ORs Wolseley.

Hiya Jelly Terror,

In image no.3 you have 2x Army Service Corps Sgt's in Dress Uniforms both are wearing their IGSM w Bars.

That'd fit in with the ASC star shaped insignia on collars & helmets - so blue tunics.
