Interesting! Some time ago I bought an RAA 'gun' badge from ebay out of curiosity because although it is the Stokes and Sons 1930-42 die it appeared to have been badly struck, I was thinking with a very worn die, it is not at all crisp, and the badge metal seems to have been 'flattened'.

Most of all it had completely different lugs on it compared to all the Stokes gun badges I have. The lugs are exactly the same as on the two badges in the posts above. Methinks somebody has a very worn Stokes gun badge die and has been playing with it! In addition of course to making other badges with the same lugs.

Keith

Different seller but still a dud

Have emailed him and the other seller to point out that the badges are duds maybe others should drop them a line or two they then might get the message have also emailed ebay but most likely a waste of time as nobody cares it's all about the money .
