Korean Veterans of Canada
I wonder if a member can help me with this one. It is a final effort to try to trace a gentleman who served in the Royal Engineers in Korea before moving permanently to Canada where he was a founder member of the Vancouver branch of the Korean Veterans Association of Canada.
For some years I have been wanting to tell him how an act of kindness on his part to young boy in Africa, by the gift of a pocket calculator and his words of encouragement changed the life of that young boy who is now professionally qualified and a highly successful business man in UK. The Vancouver man I am looking for would now be aged about 84, so being a tad younger than me there is every hope he is still around. If you have access to a record of members of the KVA for Vancouver and could possibly help trace the man I am looking for then please pm me. Many thanks, John
