WW1 19th Div sign - opinions sought
Hello all, I'm not a great expert on WW1 cloth. So I wanted to ask opinions on these - I am presuming 19th Division. As you will see they're slightly different. Is the construction consistent with a WW1 made cloth sign? They are said to have come off a tunic that was un-saveable because of moth. I'd very much appreciate the thoughts in them as to authenticity!
Best regards, and thanks. WW1 19th Div back.jpg WW1 19th Div front.jpg |

Look very much like modern reproductions on the wrong cloth and 'roughed' up to make them look old to me.
regards

I agree with Simon. the khaki cloth is too heavy and the random stains to the obverse are just odd and out of place.

I don't much like either and would certainly not buy them if they are being offered as original.

Thanks very much to all who've posted. Clearly not of the period.
