Default South Irish Horse

This is advertised as an original but it has features that would indicate a restrike (like a ridged stem and pointed serifs), I would appreciate others opinions on this one as the seller is held in high regard.

I would lean towards your fears on this one. From what I have read and seen, particularly on here; is deep detail in the striking is a bonus. The stalk I can't comment on, I have attached mine for comparison.

Regards

Simon.

I have this one which displays all the so called wrong signs but there's something about this one that intrigues me !! It just has a different feel about it to me, it's a strong badge, nice shape, good strong tapering slider with a crimp mark, end cut off but still leaving a good length !! I know most would say it's a wrong un but it's not one I'll get rid of, having said that it didn't cost too much so it was worth taking a punt on !

I think a look at the sellers shop on e-bay is a clue to the badge. He has 4 of these SIH badges for sale all at 5 pounds or under!
