Default OX & BUUCKS?

Picked this up for £4 a few moons back. I think it's a repro. The slider isn't as long as some i've seen. Not sure about the fiish either.

Hi Billy,

Although I have examples of the large pattern of this badge I don't yet have this one, which appears to be the Beret pattern.

I look forward to seeing comments from other members regarding this one.

Ry

Far too big to be a Beret badge then Billy and bigger than my "Cap" badge which measures 44mmH x 48mmW.

Anyone?

Ry

Ry,
the smaller sized badges all seem to have "Free Hanging" bugle cords, whereas the larger version mostly has the non-voided/excess metal area, although the large version can be found with free hanging cords, they are scarcer!

Thanks Andy,

That's very helpful as I'm in the market for the Beret size badge. I think I may have passed on the rarer free hanging large badge due to my ignorance on this point, until now.

Billy, that makes more sense but I'm still not convinced by that slider or the overall shape of the badge.
