Default Thought that this RAF sweetheart would interest you ...

Although I am selling this item as it now doesn't fit my collecting interests I really thought others may be interested....
It is a badge made from a bullet ,with wings from aircraft Perspex added.
together with a photo of it being worn by an attractive lady.
now it is open to speculation if this was a lucky charm that her fella gave her his life having been saved by a near miss...or if she was a nurse and saved his life we will never know !! ..what is certain is the bullets been used !!

anyway its listed in my spares album..so I think it may find a new home soon...

Thanks for sharing.

So nice to see a badge with a photograph of the exact one being worn. Not something you see too often.

Cheers, Roy.

The bullet looks like an unfired MKVII .303 ball round, perhaps he was a ground crew armourer, a nice personal item for his girlfriend.

Agree its a Mk VII and not fired though a rifle or MG as it shows no rifling marks, but may have been bench fired from a vice into a bucket of water!
