Default MP brassard / armlet

Hi

Does anyone know when the colour changes to MP armlets/brassards came in to effect?

In WWII they were red on black or navy blue and more recently they're black on red. When did it change?

I've also read that they were black on white during WW1. Is that correct? When did that change?

A very good article, but it does not answer the question, of "when did the WW2 red on black change to black on red"?

Black on Red 1911-1916
Red on Black 1915-1918

Yes Marc, I confess that my thought was that the OP could join the GW forum and ask the RMP expert concerned.
