Default RTR buttons

Hi, recently obtained these buttons, I think they may be Indian manufacture. Could anyone confirm or have another suggestion? Thanks in advance Mike

Hello Mike

I think they may just be 'other ranks' buttons, not as well made as those for officers. The quality of buttons can vary enormously, especially if wartime production. Any particular reason for thinking they may be of Indian manufacture?

I agree with Roger. The 1930s quality of Other Ranks buttons can be like this. The Depression created a race to the bottom.

From the Back I can imagine a German Manufacture.
During Occupation, many Things were made by German Makers, even with their Brand printed on the Back.
For example here.
Look for the Assmann Links, there you can see some.

Hi, thanks for responses. The only reason I thought they might have been Indian made is that they were similar to some Indian RAF buttons I had, thank you again for your replies, best wishes Mike
