Hi All
The badge seems to be voided with a thin wire mesh behind the thistle, which is a good sign in my opinion, so I would think it's a genuine badge. Cheers, Alex |

Hi, I have this badge(had it for over 30 years). I got it on a red felt diamond. The centre has a wire mesh behind it which indicates that there was a seperate piece in there, but regret none left in the centre. Regards Andrew

I agree with Alex. The one that was faked was a solid centre cap badge(I am home now and checked). It happened in the 1970's. I don't have that badge in my collection, because I haven't found one that I thought was good yet. Regards Andrew
