Default Forum social gathering.

A few of us met up in London last night, arranged by ex member PJ, unfortunately some members had to drop out for various reasons but we still had a top night PJ, me, Keith, Nozzer & Phil turned up for a few beers in Dirty Dicks to start with then PJ led us through some alleyways to Brick Lane for a Ruby, very nice it was too washed down with some watery Cobra & a bottle of red! I hope Keith made it to his party without gassing too many innocents on the way Thanks to Keith for a couple of pressies & hopefully this will prove to be the first of many such gatherings, I got in at 2am so couldn't get up for Woking
Wilf.

Hello Steve,

I'm pleased to hear that your get together was an enjoyable success mate and a good time was had by those who made it along. I would have loved to have been able to tag along but work had me grounded up till the last.

I knew it was imminent but wasn't sure of the exact date, it explains why the gang was a bit thin on the ground at Woking today. I wasn't planning on attending the fair either but couldn't refuse Jerry's offer of a lift and I managed to get a last minute leave pass from the Mrs

Hope to catch you all at a fair soon and maybe for a beer at the next jaunt.

Best Regards to all involved.

Ry

Hi Ry,
Looks like your trip was worthwhile today mate, that's a cracking photo. Hope to see you soon, possibly Farnham?
Best wishes for now,
Wilf.

Cheers mate,

Glad I spotted that photo, now to find out who he is!

Has anyone seen Phil? I last saw him wandering in the wrong direction at Liverpool St........

Chaps.

My sincere apologies to all those who attended, last minute work got in the way. I had hoped to get there after working, but it carried on.....really annoyed at not being there.

Work is definitely the curse of the social class.

Bring on the next one.

Regards

Brian.........sober for once.

Didn't know PJ was an ex-member. What happened? Did he drop out? Was he banned?

PJ quit because some of the threads that he had worked hard to put together disappeared and he felt that no one had the backbone to admit that they had scrubbed them.

Due to this he felt it was no longer worth his while contributing, so like a number of former active members it seems, he threw in the towel

It is a great shame and the forum isn't the same without his presence, or that of some of the other members who no longer contribute, or if they do, they do it very rarely.

It aint what it was is it?

Regards

Ry

Thanks Ry and others for letting me know. PJ's postings were always interesting and informative. It's too bad that had to happen.
