RAMC Qualification
This may be a stupid question from a stupid man - BUT - In the mid sixties I attended an RAMC course to qualify as a First Aid Instructor.
The qualification was worn on the left sleeve and was the Staff of Asclepius in a wreath. Anyone seen one or does anyone have an unwanted one or am I dreaming. All help gratefully accepted Jim |

First Aid Instructor
If you served in the Household Division, Royal Green Jackets, Light Infantry or Royal Irish Rangers you may have worn a version in colours other than white on khaki. Here are a few examples.

Yep , I used to wear one of these ,In my unit as a private you wore it on the cuff of the jersey heavy wool , which confussed new recruits in to thinking you were a warrant officer R.S.M !! It was moved to the shoulder after the award of a first Cpls stripe.

This badge is also found in a/a , one gold and one silver. There exist a mispelt anodised bersion that reads intructor rather than instructor.

Thanks Tim ,I couldn't remember the exact misspelling. I knew they existed and thought it would add to the thread.
