Default Do any of these look genuine?

Chaps, would like some opinions as to whether any of these 13th Hussars badges are genuine or not, hopeing my latest addition (top left) has cracked it.
Cheers Tony.

Tony

Despite a lot of looking at old 13th Hussars photos I have yet to find an OR with this badge in his hat.

Officers wore this design in peaked and side caps into WW1.

Other ranks photos I can find show the full wreath badge in the peaked cap, side cap and the brodrick. This badge is never shown.

The die struck versions were certainly reproduced.

I would keep the die cast one. One day a picture may show up of an OR wearing one. It's possible that they were made but that the regt decided to wear to full wreath version.
The dress regs of the time suggest that the wreath was supposed to be for the pugaree and the z one for the forage cap. This is not borne out by the photos however.

Default 13th Hussars

I’m just picking up on this thread 7 years later.

I picked up this ORs 13th Hussar badge that is the same as the one above. I would welcome any further opinions.

Thanks Alan, at least there is evidence ORs wore them. I must say I am please with the badge and the definition is excellent. So it’s going to be added to the collection!

Regards Ian
