Another suspect badge (CFA or copy?)
Good day,
I have this artillery cap badge marked "Canada" but it has several suspect markings & omissions; namely the font which is very modern in appearance. There are also some minor details that appear to be omitted, and the fact that it has newer looking lugs without any signs of an original slider. I am optimistic that this MIGHT be an interwar badge based on the CFA design but it has many signs of being a modern reproduction. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks |

William Scully, Montreal.
You'll find them in brass and pickled brass, in gilt with mounted wheel, and with the word UBIQUE in the upper scroll post 1927. Keith |
