Default Firman KAR Training Corps cap badge

Hi All

I acquired this recently amongst a few other badges, realised it is a beauty and well made it is just I do not know if it is Transport or Training Corps? Trying to place a value on it but just cannot find another on the Web to compare it to!

Please any help will be appreciated.

Default KAR TC

Hi Brian,
TC stands for Training Centre. Established in 1941 at Jinja, which is near Kampala in Uganda.
Hope that helps,
Alan

Default Value & Rarity

Hi Brian,
Sorry have absolutely no idea as to the rarity or value of the badge. Guessing it's an officer's bronze osd badge.
Just after I wrote the previous reply, I was reading about Major Eric Wilson VC.
Amongst other things the article states he went to take command at the Infantry Training Centre at Jinja after illness contracted in Burma with 11th KAR.
Interesting man - Somaliland Camel Corps, Long Range Desert Group, & 'killed in action' but actually a POW. amongst other things.

Hope it's worth a fortune!!
Best wishes,
Alan

Thanks for the input really appreciate your assistance.

There is someone in Aussie after it, just have no idea what to charge him and of course he is non committal which is not making my job easy?
