Default Formation Sign Latest Issue Rare PPA Badge

The latest edition of The Formation Sign Journal of the Military Heraldry Society has just been published.

It includes article on the lighthouse pagri badge of 149th Anti-Tank Regiment, the post war arm badge of the Royal Armoured Corps, a rare arm badge for Popski's Private Army, the history of the Wessex Wyvern of 43rd Division, a rare 1902 pattern cloth shoulder title and details of a French collar badge worn by the special bodyguard of Marshal Petain the wartime Vichy French leader - as well as the usual crop of mystery items for identification.

Membership for UK residents is £17.

I can only repeat what I have said before, if you have an interest in badges ( even only metal ones ) and/or military history, you are missing out if you are not a member of the Military Heraldry Society.

The latest issue of The Formation Sign is up to its usual standard.
