It's always nice after decades (5!) of collecting to strike something off the Wants list. This is a variation on the sign of the short-lived 219 Indep Ind Bde - formed in Dec 40 for, essentially, home defence duties as one of 28 other such Brigades. 219 Bde was disbanded in the UK in Dec 42 and this particular phoenix did not rise again from the flames. Others went on to more active roles notably 210 Inf Bde which became 38 (Irish) Inf Bde in Jan 42, 223 Inf Bde which was redesignated 3 Para Bde in Nov 42 and 226 Bde which became 34 Army Tk Bde in Dec 41.
