Default AWAS Insignia/SIS

Can someone identify the unit please
My Mother was with Central Bureau at Brisbane in WW2.
I have a brass pin badge - rectangular, split on the diagonal, white on the upper half and sky blue on the lower.
Thanks in advance

Do you have a picture of it? That will help with ID'ing it.
