combat slip on... for a new recruit?...
hi guys, wonder if anyone can shed some light on this one for me, please?... the only thing i can figure (since its pretty cheaply made and has Canada title) is that its for a new recruit in training?... have never seen one before, as far as i can recall...

Hi Sean, I have similar slip-ons in combat and DEU with letters cut out of other fabric and sewn on or painted on letters, etc. They were for recruits in training or for identification of the components of units during exercises. Unless you get the provenance from the actual wearer, (eg time and place of wearing), these are very difficult to identify.
