Thank you Tim for all the badge pictures, most helpful, and appreciated.
Was there a gilt cap badge to go with the gilt collars?
Also, if the general List was still around in the 50's to say 80's, what would have been worn on the beret? The bronze badge?

Your post made me think that I have got a pair or 'bronzed' (i only use that term as they are the same colour as the OSD badges) GS collare that ar QC but have the very modern fasteners. They aren't with be but when I go up to Nottingham during the summer I shall try and dig them out.
