Default Commando titles WW II?

These titles came from a WW II commando vet, but are they really authentic WW II?

Thanks for any replies.

They look like the same construction as the M.E. Commando title.

I believe they are original locally made titles.

This is a ME commando title I agree it looks similar. ME commando titles have yellow letters.

They look original to me too.

Cheers

Thanks for the info gentlemen. These titles came from a No. 2 Dutch Troop veteran. He was trained in Achnacarry in 1944/1945. Unfortunately there is no info on how or where he came across these badges.

Are the letters a light yellow on black rather than white on black? If so almost look like cut down ME Cdo with style of letter stitching found in Middle East. Although Dutch Tp had some service in Far East I don't think they are Far East manufacture. Could be a 'pick up item'. Verdict out until more information, but a nice talking point and thanks for raising here.
All the best
Mike
