Hello all
This badge was sold to me as a Russian/Soviet Military Police badge, but I can not find any positive reference to it, can any one help or translate the wording please? Thanks Destro |

Hi Steve
According to Google Translate, and referring to a number online for sale it is for the "Head of the Guard. Duty shift". Hope this helps Graham

Nice badge
Your rather nice badge is a Guard Leader on Duty badge of the VOKhR. This is a civilian state guards organisition. The organisation existed in the soviet era and I think continues today.
There is a really good website on uniform caps which has some information on their work; http://www.undertheredstar.com/vokhr.htm They are not rare badges but I think they are rather nice and make a great display item. Regards fred |
