Default Todays finds from a flea market

A nice haul today, I'm particularly pleased with the ID card.

Is the Derbyshire badge genuine, if so I will probably move it on?

I'm not sure if the Bedfordshire & Hertfordshire buttons are a cufflink or something to do with mess dress?

And the cartridge case is a 1938 .5 Vickers.

The London Gazette, Supplement 34703, Page 6784 6th October1939

Eustace Lovett TENNYSON-D'EYNCOURT (99189). Coldstream Guards.

I have also found A.E.C. Tennyson D'Eyncourt 2nd Lt 12/08/1918 and W.L.F. Tennyson D'Eyncourt 2nd Lt 21/8/1918 resigned 15/01/1921 who both served in the Coldstream Guards.

From the 1st Btn Coldstream Guards War Diary September 1939.

1939 September 7th
Quiet day of Training and continuation of Mobilization.
Captain A.E.C. TENNYSON-d’EYNCOURT joined.
One of the Carriers turned over during Training, with no casualties luckily.

Thanks for that but it appears his initial is W which could make him Walter Tennyson D'Eyncourt?

A good haul, I like the .50 Vickers case, main armament on those wretched light tanks, poor bloody Cavalry!
