Default Kulangsu Municipal Police Button

A large white metal button of the Kulangsu Municipal Police. Does anyone have any other versions in their collection ?

They are 'once every 10 years' buttons and not that scarce.
However, since the previous sale prices have tripled.

Default Chinkiang Municipal Police Button

Does anyone else on the Forum collect buttons from the China Treaty Ports ? I would like to get to know other collectors. Can PM me.

My collection has buttons from all over the world, including two from Chinese Treaty Ports. The images are for your reference. The buttons themselves are not available.

I have only seen silver buttons. Some, but not all, are hallmarked.

Hi Gents,

I'm really loving seeing these obscure Colonial buttons. My button interests thus fare have been confined to Shropshire (my home county) and British Militia. But as I also have an interest in Colonial and Protectorate badges, it's great to see these, so keep them coming.
