Default Chinscales

I bought this chinscale strap this morning from a chap who has a lot of items that he bought from a theatrical costumiers. Most of his items have had bits added to them but appear to be have started out as genuine items with later embellishments. With that in mind does anyone recognise the stamped brass chinstrap? Is it fire brigade, military of foreign? Your thoughts please.

Default chin scales.

Hi. It does not ring any bells with me. The rose could either apply to Lancashire or Yorkshire. I am sure a member on this Forum will help you more than i have. Micky007
