Default QW&CSR Cap Badge

After a recent discussion with JT regarding the issue of the new combined cap badge for the QW&CSR, I found these details in the Regimental Orders Nov 1924 - Oct 1925, apologies for spreading this out but the pics won't load in order!!!! It shows the badge was approved March 1925.

Interesting to see the first badge made was given as a gift to the Prince of Wales as a paperweight!! This being in the April Orders.

Finally the new badges and buttons were ready in August 1925, so JT, your assumption on the date was correct mate, well done

Great work, Wilf. Thanks for clarifying that so thoroughly for us. Nicely done.

(I wonder where that paperweight is now?)
