Some RAC Band Badges
These are some of my favourite badges - various badges worn by RAC bands.
Heavy Cavalry and Cambrai Band Light Cavalry Band Band of the Dragoon Guards Band of The Hussars and Light Dragoons The Royal Yeomanry Band (Inns of Court & City Yeomanry) Always looking for other badges I don't have in this picture. Enjoy! Mick

RAC Bands Badges
Hi Mick,
Just a little point regarding your badges. I was a long serving member of the Royal Yeomanry (15 years) and we did not wear the IC&CY shoulder titles. When I joined in 1973 we wore the RYR anodised title and this was later changed to Royal Yeomanry. It was the Cadre of the Inns of Court & City Yeomanry and 68 Signal Squadron who wore the IC&CY title. I hope this is of some interest. Regards, Jimbo |

RAC Band Badges
Mick,
Apologies, I should have said I was a member of the Royal Yeomanry Band. The Royal Yeomanry was made up of several Squadrons who wore their own badges except the title which was RYR and later Royal Yeomanry. Regards, Jimbo |

Here's a good picture of a Royal Yeomanry band member in full dress uniform.
