Default Help to identify this Victorian(?) badge

Hello,
Would anyone be able to identify this badge please?
It appears to be made from silver and measures approximately 3.5 cm across the widest points.

Hi Ettrick, Welcome to the Forum.
Re your badge ; First of all I don't think it is Victorian ... possibly Geo 111 or Wm 1V .. and, at a guess I would say it is probably ecclesiastical. Can't really be any more specific, sorry.

Thanks Jeff. I also have a sweetheart type badge with the same central device as the first one. Unfortunately there are no hallmarks.

Hard to see but with an electoral bonnet on the escutcheon it dates from 1801-1816, and with a royal crown on the escutcheon from 1816-1837, so either George III, George VI or William IV.

Rgds, Thomas.
