Nice fellas, thanks for posting.

Does this mean Marc that my curved ANTRIM title, embroidered scarlet on dark blue and apparently worn below the ROYAL ARTILLERY title, is incorrect?

You must be psychic! I was about to say that until today I had only seen one example of the two line title ROYAL ARTILLERY/ANTRIM - mine came 20 years ago from the remains of a manufacturer's sample board in Belfast. Now I have seen two, but the images I have seen show the subtitles ULSTER (51 AA Bde) and ANTRIM being worn separately below ROYAL ARTILLERY. I have a note that ANTRIM was worn by 429 Coast Regt RA(TA).

Tim,
That could be the makings of that old-fashioned medium - a book! Mike

I have the single ANTRIM being worn by 146 (Antrim Artillery) Field Engineer Regiment RE (TA). Catalogue number CB 8047, pattern number 17547, sealed 16th April 1957, introduced 2nd October 1958, LoC 8872 November 1958.

The ULSTER designation was worn by the members of 51 (Ulster) Anti Aircraft Brigade RA (TA). Apparently the badges were introduced to be worn below the standard ROYAL ARTILLERY designation by all attached personnel in the respective colours for WRAC, RSignals, REME and RASC.

Members please continue to add pictures of your Sealed Standard Patterns to the album.
To see it and other shared albums go to "Community" on the top green bar, click on the drop down and "Social Groups" and follow the instructions to add a picture to the respective album.
Alternatively, if you already have a picture in your own album(s) click on "Edit Picture" then "Add to Group" then select the appropriate group to add to.

I have this one in the post to me.

I had not previously seen a sealed standard pattern for a cap.

Nearly every item in the inventory has a sealed pattern, all items of uniform including laces, all types of buttons, pins, needles, zips, webbing, and repair items.

Indeed Marc, it is just I had not seen a cap with the pattern card previously. I am sure they are out there along with bootlaces etc.
