Default 10th Armd Div

I've never quite decided whether these two theatre-made shoulder slide-ons (I hesitate calling them a pair!) represent a black-and-white variation on the standard black-and-red 10th Armoured fox mask sign, or if the red thread has completely bleached or leached out to white. I'm also aware that the 10th was re-raised in Libya in the mid 1950s -- could this be its sign from that period? (I've never actually seen any reference to the 10th's 1950s sign.)

I have a small collection of formation patches which I am trying to identify. I am attaching a pic ( front and back) of a rather similar off white ( pink ?) fox. I think that probably the original dye wasnt all that colour-fast and faded in the sun ( you mentioned Libya - plently of sun there !)

That's almost an identical match to mine, and there is a pinkish tone showing up quite clearly. Nice one -- thank you!

The shoulder sildes are most likely wartime - as I recall use of arm of service stripes were abandoned after the war.
