What is this Naval badge please?
This cloth badge came with a group of Great War Medals to an A.B. in the R.N.V.R. along with a few other odds and ends from the same house clearance. Could someone be kind enough to tell what it represents?
Thank you. |

Hi Simon,
Its an Engine Room Artificer rating, cap badge. Pre 52, obviously. Phil

Phil,
thank you. This Leading Seaman's badge came with it. The chap that I buy a lot of my collection from does house clearances and puts bits aside for me. I suspect that he stockpiles stuff as I am never sure if they have all come from the same house clearance. The R.N.V.R. medals were Great War and to a Gallipoli casualty. |
