I have just noticed that someone has placed this information on the @net. It looks if it is information from "Badges & Insignia of the British Armed Services. Still for those of you who have got the book, this is a good reference but only goes up to the 70s

"Badges & Insignia of the British Armed Services" (May, Carmen, Tanner) published in 1974 by A & C Black. Now long OOP.
