The unidentified ones are VIII Corps (White knight on charger), East Anglian Brigade (TA units) and a cut down Catterick Garrison sign. In my opinion 2 Cdo and the Gurkha Para Bn are reproductions. "44 Army Corps" is actually 44 (Home Counties) Inf Div (TA).
A good collection though.

Thanks Mike,
Will edit to update posting.
I've been promised a Hong Kong Forces in silk, worn by staff officers prior to the handing back.

Only the right hand (as viewed) Beaufighter is Air Formation Signals (2nd Pattern) the left one with a merrowed edge is 21 Signal Regiment (Air Support) c1994.

The 'light bulb' is an RAF item. Worn on the lower sleeve by RAF personnel who have not yet obtained the required jumps to qualify for their wings.

Thanks chaps.
Luc, it sounds funny as those two Airborne patches were the only ones that didn't come with the lot but placed them there for the scan. They were given to me by a former member of the Parachute Regiment just after he completed his service around the time of the Falklands conflict. Everything's possible but I doubt if a Para would deal in copies and this is 30 years ago! He also gave me his stable belt, subdued badge and spare parade boots.

Default pegasus patches

Hello button-guru,

These patches are often regarded as fakes, I have two pairs of this design but both with a different backing material. Would you be so kind to show a picture of the back of these patches.

regards,
Albert.

I believe that was the verdict when we discussed them here a while ago. Apparently, they have been available at museum shops for years.

Hi Luc,

I remember, and I agree with you that the ones with the black gause backing are suspicious. But I am not totally convinced that the ones I have with the paper backing are fake.

Altough I have never seen prove that they are genuine..I keep on searching

regards,

Albert.
