Well that's coincidence then..... DaveC and I just happened to visit the S.Staffs museum today and a very good visit and look around - we are now on the most wanted list for 'borrowing' some bits - I wish......
I didn't notice any WII slip-on's, but lots of cloth and metal ST's, a number of Arnhem itms - airborne berets, etc etc a nice bullion glider arm badge (which I haven't seen before) and lots of very nice plates/early uniforms etc.
The one you show doesn't look much different to the ones I have - although I don't have a S.Staffs one. Maybe on the next visit, we will take a pic of your along and see. (seem that the weekend staff are volunteers, but for real info on badges in use etc, a week day visit is better when the 'regulars' are around.

Rgds, David

Hi Roger,

I doubt if David gives a toss to be honest, we visited the Museum, S.Staffs, N.Staffs or Staffs, I certainly didn't notice but it was very interesting and there were one or two items I would dearly love.

David goes back to Brum this afternoon but I will return to the Museum in the week to speak to the C/Sgt about a couple of queries I have ???

Dave.
