Default Essex Regt cloth titles

I have had these oversize titles for a couple of regiments for a long time, they seem WW2 with glue/size backeing but I was not sure due to there larger than standard lettering. However, I recently managed to get this original picture which appears to show one being worn cWW2.

Default Essex cloth title

I have often thought these were not genuine, but cloth titles do come in many different shapes, sizes and typefaces. Thanks for showing the photo.
