Default New KC RIrish cap badge worn & withdrawn

I'm told by a reliable source the RIrish had a KC badge issued for the Coronation parade but strictly withdrawn STRAIGHT afterwards as the manufacturer produced the old style badge without the green 'paint', ie UDR shape but KC.

Has anyone even a picture of one of these?

I know the same thing happened with the re designed QC pipers badges (UDR 'fuller figure' lady WITH 'paint' or cold enamel?) and Firmin I believe it was just threw up their hands and told the PRI to keep them and remade more...for a while they were being sold in the Regt shop but ALL gone yrs ago now.

By the time the KC badges arrived it was too late to change them before the big day.

Like this?
But seems to have green paint?
I understand that there are issues with the design of the King’s (Tudor) Crown on various badges which is delaying production and issues pending additional approvals.
