Default Help with identification

Can anyone help with identification these 2 buttons please?

Thought the "79" button might be a mess waiters' button to the 79th Cameron Highlanders but if not, I am absolutely stumped!
Despite the yellowish colour due to photographing in poor light, the button is actually white metal. It is about 20mm diameter, has a 2-part closed back but no manufacturer's marks.
The Canada button has been lying around for ages and just needs an accurate label.
Would appreciate any help

Regards

Janner

The 79th button is probably the 79th Canadian Militia (Cameron Highlanders of Canada) c1920s, and the other Canadian button is a type of Canada General Service button used c1920s-40s. Both types are not uncommon in Canada.
