Default Beret Insignia Identification Requested

I apologize for the poor photographs, but this is the best I can do. It was taken from a recent eBay auction.

Can anyone identify which military unit/organization this lady belong to?

I think WRAC badge on beech brown teardrop, on a beret, I think, rather than the short lived "GS Cap/ caubeen" style headress that preceded the beret. WRAC shoulder titles, WWII War Medal ribbon.....

I agree, Woman’s Royal Army Corps (WRAC)also just make out the two tier shape to the cloth shoulder title of the WRAC.

Thank you @leigh kitchen and @gb64.

Here’s another portrait showing the same woman.

@leigh kitchen in regard to the second portrait I posted, the Corporal is wearing a slightly different beret flash. Is there any significance to this?

Now you mention it, it could be that the badge backing is not the beech brown of the WRAC but the ATS beret backing which would fit with my initial impression that the badge being worn is the ATS WWII economy black plastic badge.
Could be a c1947 photo showing the new WRAC and the old ATS uniforms, though I don't see how the new and the old would be overlapping - perhaps a WRAC and a friend or relative who's ex ATS?

The ATS badge backing:

@leigh kitchen could it be post war (circa late 1945/1946) First Corps District administered Rhine Province and Westphalia?

WRAC were formed in 1949, 1st Corps was disbanded in 1947, reformed in 1951.

We may be mistaken in identifying the first photo as WRAC and the insignia is ATS, compare you're original photo to the one of the ATS badge backing, the WRAC badge backing is of a single colour, a reddish brown. WRAC and ATS shoulder titles would be similar at the angle shown.

Default Beret Insignia Identification

I would say ATS in gilding metal, badges photographed at an angle often appear distorted and if highly polished have some reflection.

The first image or the later one? The first one seemed ATS badge, but the backing appeared to be of one colour, as per WRAC. I agree that shiny badges can look black in photos - I have a photo of me, wearing a gold and silver anodised aluminium badge that shows as definite black in the photo.
